EU deadlines for online sellers: what applies when

Every date on this page was fetched from that instrument's own EUR-Lex page when the page was generated, and asserted before it was written. Last checked 10 September 2026.

For a shop this is not one duty but a cluster of dated ones, and they come from different instruments. Search for any of them and you find either a vendor selling that one thing or an article writing about that one thing. This page puts them side by side, with the instrument and the date next to every line.

DE — § 356a BGB, in force 19 June 2026. Labels „Vertrag widerrufen“ and „Widerruf bestätigen“, each allowing „eine andere gleichbedeutende eindeutige Formulierung“. What is not here

The national implementations of GPSR, the price-indication rule and Directive (EU) 2024/825 were not read from national registers for this page. For those three, only the Union-level dates are given. What was read first-hand is § 356a BGB and § 13a FAGG — the two withdrawal-button provisions. The gap is marked as a gap rather than filled with a guess.
